Karlie Easter joins TruckSafe board

KS Easter compliance manager takes up a role on the board of industry accreditation program TruckSafe

July 5, 2013

The compliance manager of Queensland-based trucking outfit KS Easter has joined the board of industry accreditation program TruckSafe.

TruckSafe Chairman Stephen Marley welcomed Karlie Easter to the board, saying her role at KS Easter and experience will bring a new perspective to the group.

Easter has a Bachelor of Commerce with majors in human resources and industrial relations. She has been an industrial advocate for commerce Queensland and human resources manager for CitiStreet.

“As part of the board, I’ll be working to see greater recognition and incentives for operators who join the TruckSafe program,” Easter says.

“I also aim to see TruckSafe building strong links with the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator so operators know that their accreditation is recognised nationally.”
